Bigger

Let me tell you my story
I was constantly hungry
I used to think about food
All day everyday
For every food that I ate
I knew the number
For every step that I'd take
I knew the number
Those numbers filled up my brain
I got really good at
Mental arithmetic

You worry cos I'm bigger
But I'm better
Than I was before
You worry cos I'm bigger
But I never
Had this energy before
This is the size
I'm meant to be
And I'm sorry that you don't believe me

This is how it would go
When I walked into a room
I would check my size
Beside all the other women
And I would determine
Where I would stand
In the line
Does that sound like a healthy mind?

You worry cos I'm bigger
But I'm better
Than I was before
You worry cos I'm bigger
But I never
Had this clarity before
This is the size
I'm meant to be
And I'm sorry that you don't agree
You think that you know what it means
But can you think differently?
