The End

Will the jury please stand and raise your right hand
Do each of you swear that you will fairly
Try the case before this court
And that you will return a true verdict
According to the evidence and the instructions of the court
So help you God
Please say I do
I do
You may be seated

Your honor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury
I don't have much to say here
This was a big city act committed in a peaceful, small town
If we let this son of a bitch live
He's gonna commit more of these atrocious acts
Now who's with me
Yeah!
Let's burn him at the stake

I happen to agree with the people on this one
You are a disgrace to our country
And an embarrassment to your family
I see no other choice but to sentence you
Don't I get a chance to speak?
What the fuck man?
Fuck

Footsteps and chains clinking
Metal door opening and closing
Footsteps walking away

On some weird shit

Getting old be like getting told
Your whole world be getting sold
To a cold and shitty old
Rich white dude in a robe
Who's been staring at you play
Salivating as you age
Waiting till you realize
He's the only one you need in life
And you gotta put in work if you wanna make it work
Even if you livid at him gotta fake it like you weren't
Never tell him that you hate him or he's gonna make you hurt
He'll rape you till you bleed until you scream and make him squirt
He don't give a shit about you
He could die or live without you
Gotta smile through the pain
All the while he be saying

You know that I own you
So do what I told you
All work and no play
Make Jack okay
But all play and no work
Make Jack a jerk
Better do what you're told
That's what it's like getting old
You know I'll take care of you
May not always be fair to you
It's for your own good
So work hard like you should
And when you get on the right track
I'll give you your life back
Until then it's been sold
That's what it's like getting old

At age 21 I started losing my hair
Started getting fat during college senior year
Exhilarated when I graduated
Got a nine to five, got exasperated
When I realized shit just don't pay
Started out making minimum wage
Kept up drinking from fraternity days
But now it ain't fun and my world is a daze
Now everybody says I'm an alcoholic
If I drink to numb the pain is that what you call it?
Bad scenes, crashed dreams, left cars at the scene
You know you're getting old when the bars aren't the scene
That bed squeaking noise is the world getting off
Fucking some poor soul morning the loss
Of better days with friends, who cares he existed?
Thinking about his chance, who cares, he missed it!

You know that I own you
So do what I told you
All work and no play
Make Jack okay
But all play and no work
Make Jack a jerk
Better do what you're told
That's what it's like getting old
You know I'll take care of you
May not always be fair to you
It's for your own good
So work hard like you should
And when you get on the right track
I'll give you your life back
Until then it's been sold
That's what it's like getting old

The End
