Hard Work Pays
Since the day I was born, I've been destined to make it
Never took it for granted I was determined to take it
Started dancing running swimming even took up some acting
But I knew my love was music when I found Michael Jackson
I was five years old when I told my daddy my mission
How I wanted to sing and be on television
First, he thought I was joking but then I kept on insisting
Don't know if he saw my talent or it was just my persistence
Then at seven made my debut and I dropped my first single
I remember hearing it on the radio how it made me tingle
At that moment I knew that I was gonna be great
Worked hard and I dropped my first album when I turned eight
Ever since never stopping
Every year Album dropping
Now I'm on album number five like it's nothing
I am living proof that you should hold on to your dream
If you don't bet on you
Then there's no way you can win yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work Pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work Pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work pays yeah
If you want to make it you can never stop
Just keep pushing forward you don't ever stop
Though you're getting tired you must never stop
Just face where you're going and don't ever stop
I Just put one foot in front of the other and I move
And I've been doing that since just to make sure I improve
If you wanna get better, then you gotta work good
It's not just about who you wanna be it's about your attitude
When I started singing practice
Thought everything was automatic
It just flowed like my habit didn't have to think about it
But things started getting crowded and the pressure grew inside it
Wanted to overwhelm me but I knew not to allow it
When your next level come, you're facing pressure again
At that point you work harder there's no time to complain
Just know the sun's go'n shine after the rain
And it's all go'n to make sense after the pain Yeah!
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work Pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work Pays yeah
Hard Work Pays yeah
Hard work pays yeah
