Coexist
Let's get back to being human
Everything that you're doing
Has an influence on someone or something besides you
And I know you got your own tensions
In your day to day living
Can't be flicking pennies when you're living on a pension
Not to mention, the people depending on your giving
But if we save our two cents
We could pay more attention
To revealing what we're feeling
And be willing to find healing
Taking responsibility's the first lesson of living
I'm just looking for my groove, seems like everywhere I move
I got people all around though I just wanna get down
Can I move, can I groove
Clear the way, I'm coming through
Oh you too, well I guess I'll make room for the rest
Such a beautiful mess that we all co-exist
We're in tune, with the groove
That connects me and you
Lesson two, pay attention to what you give attention to
Focus changes the lens to bring it closer in view
Focusing on the problem just brings it closer to you
So focus on the solution for things you want to improve
Example, a sample from the King Martin Luther
Only love removes hate from a man (amen), Hallelujah
They'll fool you if you choose to respond with negativity
You're just a puppet if they're pulling your strings mentally
Be your own person and choose your own worth
Stand firm in your character with roots in the earth
Stay grounded, don't cave to your surroundings
Kindness over violence, true strength is making music from the silence
I'm just looking for my groove, seems like everywhere I move
I got people all around though I just wanna get down
Can I move, can I groove
Clear the way, I'm coming through
Oh you too, well I guess I'll make room for the rest
Such a beautiful mess that we all co-exist
We're in tune, with the groove
That connects me and you
Neglect it or express it, just know everything's connected
Through the underlying essence, the first of every second
Beginning of every next, the start of every progression
The seed of every need, desire, and every blessing
When you know it, you grow from everything that you connect with
Each challenge a chance for expansion of your essence
Everything is a lesson for your own self-reflection
I'm no exception, don't mistake the messenger for the message
I'm just looking for my groove, seems like everywhere I move
I got people all around though I just wanna get down
Can I move, can I groove
Clear the way, I'm coming through
Oh you too, well I guess I'll make room for the rest
Such a beautiful mess that we all co-exist
