Stuck in a routine, I didn't see it coming

I was feeling things were out of place
Had my doubts but hoped it was just a phase

Somehow a part inside of me was relieved

Seeing friends, reinstalling Tinder
Compensating
Keeping my thoughts distracted

Casual dates to help me drown my feelings
All the sex, medication for the hurting
I think I'm doing better but self focusing is not the answer
You just turned into a stranger with no hope for communication

So many questions, so many things left unsaid
All the precipitation, the way it all ended
Two years gone in a day

I stopped asking questions when there was no easy answer
