I'm not perfect
I may never be
I'm not happy
I'll get there eventually
Sometimes I can fall apart
It doesn't mean
There's something wrong with me

Things aren't always

I've been holding
To things I should let go
I can be the hardest
Critic that I know
Sometimes I just wish
I could see things
From a different point of view

Do other people see
The things that I can't see
Do they see a person
I'd be proud to be
I'm trying hard to
Shake these lies
That I won't ever measure up

That who I am
