She had another soul to take today
A time and a place, she knew their surname
How they'll die it did not say
She had to take their soul to ease their pain

On the way to work it made her think
What death would she have today?
She could figure it out from the logic
But could easily go another way

A death by jumping from a high rise
Or caught in a web of lies
Snuffed out by a satellite
Or killed by dynamite

At the scene and sees so many things
All the ways a death can go
A woman walks past and as she sings
She gets crushed by a piano

So she walks on over to take her soul
Reaches in to pull it out
But she can see through the holes
And still hear the woman shout
