Warm Weather

When I was young the sky often crystal blue
The trees were green and lush and clean
Light from the sun would land uncut onto my face
And I would wonder how much longer for this place?

And now it's over now
It's time to relax

The orange in the sky I can't forget about
Will burn me if I look too long
The glowing sun I used to love no longer charms
It's now a constant sign that we do not belong

The magic I unleashed that day has come to haunt
I only wanted it to kill
I made a lot of money for a lot of friends
A lot of good that's doing them now in the end
