It's that time of year again
That we pack up the car to see family and friends
It's time for a barbecue, drinkin' brews, a little snooze
While we lounge on a hammock before takin' out the canoes

The hours melt away when we frolic and play
And eat lots of food on the beach with our doggos off the leash
At our private retreat that can't be beat
Poker at night is so exciting

Everyone is so inviting
And such a joy to delight in
A little cards against humanity
To help keep the sanity as we waste the whole day

Plenty of time for a walk or a snooze
We'll have s'mores by the campfire, I promise you can't lose
Pop is on a mission to go fishing

Little Tommy and Jane go insane with joy
We break out the sparklers and the fireworks
Oh, they are such wonderful toys
The parker cuts the lake of glass

As we go fast and play cornhole for the win
The end of the week should be declared a sin
