Crystal (Held a Gypsy)

Watched a Western confirmed the words I thought were true
Then it festered the moons all turned crystal blue
Second-guessed her worth when she spoke of a savior pure and true
I confessed to her I was over my head and insecure
Then I met her first young gypsy with eyes as black as pearls
Stared into my soul then I knew it was over let me go
I held her oh too close as long as a boy could hold a tune
I knew that I was wrong all my wounds were turning crystal too
