Father God
I remember a day when I did not have you as I do now
I remember a time of unrighteousness in my life
I remember a time of great calamity and downfall as I struggled
Surrounded by crowds of those who did not have you as I wish to have you

But The Book of Isaiah 43:18 states
Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past
The Book of Isaiah 65:17 states
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth

And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind
Ecclesiastes 7:10 states, Do not say
Why is it that the former days were better than these
For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this

Look, my past life wasn't even doing my path right
I felt like I was proving the devil half right
Lying to myself, wasn't even wearing that mask right
Slow stepping into the fast life, flash life

Look fam, I was missing out, I ain't have Christ
And that's like, playing Mario on your last life
With bad sight, knowing you ain't gone last right

All these habits that I've been changing
Wishing my friends and family just would've been more embracing
Would've been more supportive, would've been more engaging
Understand what I'm faced with before you go making faces

The Book of Hebrews 10:32 states
But remember the former days, when after being enlightened
you endured a great conflict of sufferings
2 Corinthians 5:17 states

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature
The old things have passed away, behold, new things have come

Look, I left my past life in that past life
Back when I ain't act right, now I'm following Paul and reenacting his acts twice

And that's gospel, see my passion is past life
Heaven the destination, vacationing under dad's lights
Glory to the father, cheers to working harder
Preach the word, most people just look to gaslight

Others eat it up, know nothing 'bout how to fast right
And some just blow it away through a glass pipe
Till they crash, thought everything was a blast
But soon as that gun go blast, they realize they ain't have life

On the wings of the angels, how I catch flights
Illuminating your mind with how I cast light
