Genesis
Welcome to the Bvrd Bath
Aye, aye
Yuh
You know what
I wish that once in a while
You dudes would learn to listen to me (Listen to me)
Since "Comida Sana," the rhythm and beat:
Two things that come simple for me (Simple for me)
Maybe not back then
But five years since that dropped
I haven't stopped rapping
Started as a project for class and
Then it turned into a passion
Passed the halfway mark to an addict
Every verse I start
Is a trip that a ship's about to embark (Where?)
On the Pacific or Atlantic
Precious cargo underneath
But on the shell, not so pristine
Been through hell and back
Just smoking dope and sipping drank
In the captain's quarters, so serene
My four eyes out the window
Closely staring at that ocean scene
This life can bring the dopest things
I ain't talking owning things
But honing in and focusing
On each what of these moments bring
An overload of dopamine
When I'm in this zone I'm in
I sat down with no clue
As to what I was about to write
Was in the dark, but then a spark
And then it shone on him: a light
These words was flowing in
Like waterfalls is pouring in
Like rain, cause God is pissing up
A storm—I'm in the eye of it
This beat is porn and drugs combined
A guy is getting high off it
My meat is sort of sore from standing up
When I sat down to go to write to it
Been stretching with these letters
Won't get tired of it
An alphabet contortionist
I'll have a bet supporting this
That when they think of rappers
I'm not drawn up in the portrait
I wanna change their habit
For so long, I have looked forward to this
My karma coming round
I thank God that I've been so fortunate
To grow up in Milwaukee town
And these surrounding coordinates
To know my family's gonna be around
If I fall over, trip
My love for rhyming, or my love for them?
I don't know what's more legit
Their support's the source of it
So I make sure my torch is lit
Of course I enforce
They tell me "no" when I need it
I ain't scared of it
I welcome it
So bear to witness
Merry Christmas
When I drop this album
For the hell of it
Y'all prepared for this?
I'm peanuts to an elephant
Be careful with this CD
When you selling it (When you selling it)
It's seedy like a felon is (Felon is)
Let's go
