Pigeon Town

I live round the shack outback
It's full of rats and razorbacks
I get my knife and cut 'em down
You think I won't just stick around
Cornfed boys in gunnysacks
Digging holes and filling cracks
Souped up cars and monster trucks
Killing pigs and smoking dust

Don't ask me why, I'd hate to lie
Just wasting time
Hanging around in Pigeon Town

Cousin Johnny comes to play
I yell out just go away
We go down to the fishing hole
I grab his hand, he grabs his pole
He gets drunk and starts a fight
Looks for someone new to spite
I get mad, he starts to howl
I head right back down to the holler

It's no surprise, don't ask me why
He's doing time
Somewhere South of Pigeon Town

I live round the shack outback
It's full of Vipers, Diamond backs
Nine miles South of Pigeon Town
Another bunch of Killer Clowns
I keep my door locked up real tight
Daddy sneaks in every night
I'll get my gun and shoot him down
You think I won't just stick around
Mamma never meant no harm
Even when she broke my arm
She'd get mad and start a fight
This happened almost every night

Don't ask me why
It's no surprise
They had to die,
To get away from Pigeon Town

And you can say all the shit you want to about blood
Being thicker than water
It's thick alright
Like mud
That's just the way it is around here
Lay of the land
And all that crap
Dog eat Doggie and you'll get a stick
In your eye every time just for trying
You go to bed with the pigs
You wake up with the pigs
But hey I was born around here
At least I had the smarts to get the hell out
Not that it matters where you're from
It's all the same
All one big busted-up broken down shit-shack in the middle of nowhere
I'm heading out of Pigeon Town
