This was the first song that Aaron and I made for the album together
Um, Audrey and I had been writing already at home
But then I flew to Long Pond by myself, and the night that I got in
We made this song, it was really late already, and then
We just kind of did it all in one pass

And it was this weird thing, it was sort of like
Felt like some prophecy or something
Because I was writing about a relationship that had barely started
But, like, as if it had already ended and as if I knew the reason why
For-, for the ending and that about music has always gotten me good

Like, I sometimes feel, especially in the context of working with Aaron
That sometimes these, I don't know if it's like
These subconscious truths or just intuition
Can cut through when I'm at Long Pond, and

Anyway, so it's funny to think about this song now

I love this one, this is some of my favourite writing
And uh, I love the production on it as well
