Shark Pile

The ships docked in rows
A forest of masts and funnels
The air thick with smoke
The water black with oil
A symbol of man's progress
And of his destruction

Red house by the water
Loved and then we fought her
Just another ruined bliss
Never want a life like this
Shark pile our deepest hell
One more lie we tell ourselves
No more happy life to live
10 more years we've killed ourselves

The ship is a wreck
The sailors are lost their bodies swallowed by the sea
But even in death there is beauty in the waves
In the wind in the power of the sea

One more time I'll kill you myself
