The Barnes
With the times there's a breakaway
Days off you don't have a choice in
If you can only hunt on Tuesdays
Got your own hounds for some voicing
With his rifle and a coded channel
And Springer in the back
Keeper Roxy and Roo Roo
Keep Barnsey coming back
One day someone was walking High along The track
Saw a body lying there And took a big step Back
And Chopsey and Rusty Nuts Were lying In the damp
But the man soon smiled as he realized It Was Barnsey with a cramp
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking his old crew used to say
Good advice once was nice But they tell Him every day
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking They're not gonna stop
Push them hard but just remember Keep Them out of the park
There's also one lucky hound Who goes by Specky McGee
Who was in the crate With his mates with A shift in gravity
From where the Frig is Mary J Was where He ran out of luck
His world turned upside down At Sheepyard he rolled his truck
The big stags roam the Howqua But in the Winter it will flood
There's a hound stuck on the other side And straight in Barnsey jumps
Greeny pulls his camera out And films With a mighty grin
As Barnsey seems to have forgotten That He can't even fucking swim
But little things like drowning Simply Make him growl
When you're warming by the fire He's still Out on the prowl
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking His old crew used to say
Good advice once was nice But they tell Him every day
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking They're not gonna stop
Push them hard but just remember Keep Them out of the park
There was one time at Sheepyard Half a Day after dawn
When they found him curled up in the Fireplace Trying to get warm
Everyone decided to run As the snow Began to flog
But Barnsey just went straight back out Looking for his dogs
So despite being on his own Just him and His hounds
His Go-Pros on his aim is true and he Keeps on mowing em down
His tally is impressive His record sets off Sparks
Such a responsible hunter Who stays out Of national parks
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking His old crew used to say
Good advice once was nice But they tell Him every day
If your dogs aren't going just keep Walking They're not gonna stop
Push them hard but just remember Keep Them out of the park
If your dogs aren't going just keep walking His old crew used to say
Good advice once was nice But they tell Him every day
If your dogs aren't going just keep walking They're not gonna start
Push them hard but just remember Keep Them out of the park
