The Realisation
Once a love so kind and pure
Flew to heights like ne'er before
Songs that in time did meld our hearts
That is where this story must start
With a quill in my hand
Melodies in his head
And we stayed up till late every night
Our success would be made
We'd have time for our vows
In that moment nothing felt so right
But as time then passed by
I could feel something shift
As the flowers we grew start to fade
And the target of rage
Turning unsatisfied
Was surely directed my way
But i still believe music is healing
You speak your heart and you're revealing
A truthful spirit wild and free
That is where I spend my company
And I know you feel it too
You feel the pull that it can do
I can see it in your eyes
You wear a mask but I see the disguise
Music
Could be
Your my second chance
Like it was before
Life had been unkind
Just when I had given up
It taught me love
And gave me peace of mind
In a world of no pain
Nor the cruelty of man
Only laughter that flew through the halls
While I cleaned for my keep
I could hear song and dance
In that moment nothing felt so right
But just as it is given
It is taken just as easily
I'll never trust another
I know I can only count on me
And though you might refute it
There is nothing that will change my mind
We must admit sooner or later
We are all alone until we die-
Flew to heights like ne'er before
Songs that in time did meld our hearts
That is where this story must start
With a quill in my hand
Melodies in his head
And we stayed up till late every night
Our success would be made
We'd have time for our vows
In that moment nothing felt so right
