The Mystery

O'grave where is your victory?
Christ has conquered death
Rejoice in the Lord
Hope is alive
Had it been they knew, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord
Had it been they knew, they wouldn't have failed to embrace The Word
Had it been they knew
They would have understood that he has come to give us life
Fulfill the prophecy and never to break the law
Had it been they knew, they wouldn't have failed to acknowledge him
They wouldn't have called him rabbi, still persecute and hated him
Had it been they knew he is the Prince sent to save the world
They wouldn't have Crowned him thorns
Beat him, make jest of him and naked him
The Lion chose to be the Lamb to reconciled us back to the father
Humble himself till the last, he laid down his life to be murdered
But they didn't know
If only they knew he is God that came in flesh
To bear our sin upon himself and carry our pain upon his shoulder
The Devil tried so hard
To make sure his destruction never come to pass
Silencing the prophets, everyone who came before our Christ
But not knowing the Mystery, that for men to have a victory
Is the purpose the father sent the son to be our means of sacrifice
For eyes hath not seen, nor ears have Heard what God prepared for us
Hidden from the devil, through His spirit he revealed to us
That we will not perish
We can live with no blemish
In his mercy, when we still a sinner Christ chose to die for us
The devil is ashamed, through the Cross we have access to Salvation
The Suffering of Christ was the process and means to our liberation
For our sake he was battered, he was pierced, he was tortured
But he shed his blood to saved us from our shame and condemnation
The heavens are rejoicing for the Glory Christ has brought to us
Living for his glory, no more distance, he abide in us
Justified by his blood, when we careless, he cared for us
Reconciled to the father, our freedom he restored to us
Now we are dead to sin and we have boldness to stand in His Court
We are free indeed all our trespass is nailed on the Cross
He took our shame and our guilt
Gave us glory, joy and beauty
Now we clean, no longer filthy
O grave where is your victory
O grave where is your victory
Jesus Conquered death, o grave where is your victory
