THE RAINCLOUD

Up there they say in the skies so far away
There lives a raincloud and he's gonna send some rain

'Cos the rain gives us the water that we need to stay alive
And the animals and the creatures all need it to survive

And the farmer with his plants and his crops out in the field
He needs it for the land and the harvest it will yield

And the rivers and the oceans and the seas beside the beach
All come from the water that the raincloud gives to each

If the rain should stop falling and all the land was dry
There'd be no drinking water and everything would die

Yes if the rain should stop falling on the houses and the streets
They'd be dusty and dirty there'd be grime and disease

So thank you to the rainclouds for the water that we love
That you send down to everyone from the sky so high above
