Lonely Man's Lament

Winters brutal on this farm
No reason to turn on my charm
The only thing worse than the cold
Is not having someone to hold
I'll try to wait til spring to start my search
For a northern woman to join my perch

Like a fox with mange I fight my itch
Til I break down and call my ex
I need a couple of drinks at the very least
That woman is a special crazy
But I guess she'll do for now
Its a hell of a lot better than holdin a cow

Don't want to give up human nature
Don't want to extend the family tree
Want a piece of her all night baby
But how will god think of me

She sure knows how to treat a man
Theres only one thing we understand
She makes me hot, and sorta anxious
But that one thing sure calms us

Dont want to give up human nature
Dont want to extend the family tree
Want a piece of her all night baby
But how will god think of me

And I know if she stays too long
I'm probably gunna fall in love

Dont want to give up human nature
Dont want to extend the family tree
Want a piece of her all night baby
But how will god think
How will god think
How will god think of me
