Now if you perfect throw your hands in the air
Better yet I wanna start this with prayer
Father God I know you hear me cause I feel that you're there
It's some things I wanna talk about, some stories to share
Now I don't want you looking at me like you crossed eye
I'm tryna help my people out so you can see that I tried
Some things that I said, it wasn't fully true so I lied
But I gotta share it cause it's eating me up inside
I haven't always been the Darius you see now
I was going to a dead end but he turned me around

It was so bad I couldn't help but have a breakdown
He was building me telling me what I should do
Could've got killed right there on York Avenue
Same situations, what I get myself into
Could've been dead and gone I should've been through But God!

All the things I did back then now I'm reaping
Heart was so broke, torn up I wasn't sleeping
At the same time don't feel bad for me cuz I knew what I was doing that's what I get for creeping
Use to have a bad mouth, clap back was serious
Everybody that I hurt I really hope you hearing this
I'm sorry for letting my anger get the best of me
But God got the recipe, that's why he's blessing me
My heart was so cold, my look was so bold
She looking so good, I pray I don't fold

I know where he's taking me cuz he showed me the goals

It was me, my own life I was bout to ruin
