Dysthymian Dreams

Nothing, so cold
Disconnected from the world
In apathy, in lethargy
Memory suppressed
In desperate attempt to
Forget the grief
And it's the wisdom's toll
Loneliness, abandonment
Standing all alone against the world
In vague happiness
The shallow and primitive
Sacrifice the gift of intellectuality

Sculpted heart of stone
Burried in the deepest grave
Made of flesh and bones
The tomb of self deceit
Evading flames
That ignite the pain
The essence to hate
But yet heart bound

And every breath
Feels like inhaling death
And eyes see nothing
And every thought
Feels like cudling the razor
And veins bleed nothing

And so I fall
In the depths of loneliness
Realizing all the shadows
Bringing to death
Everything that ever lived
Sealing it all in the past
Burning bridges
Has become a habit
Providing sense of odd solace
Seeing what's ignored
Cursed by wisdom
Being cold and so alone

Tormented in between
Obligation and free will
Torn open bleeding
Remaining unseen
And thus so cold and nothing
Killed for survival
Gliding into inevitable damnation

And every breath
Feels like inhaling death
And eyes see nothing
And every thought
Feels like cudling the razor
And veins bleed nothing
