Ten Years Old

Run for the right-of-way
Looking for a better day
Keeping on, and it keeps me moving
Radio is sedative
Music is repetitive
I keep it going. It keeps me grooving
You don't need an attitude
In and effort to become 'rude'
Just a term, for your information
Not to be a little weird
But there's something to be feared
At the people who run the nation!

Politician, businessman
Operate the nation's hand
Personal movement, political gain
Our government demands
You have currency in hand
Tip the scales to the currency vein
We're puppets without masters
We should break our casters
Throw off the rhetoric that they hurl
But, they'll keep on beating us
And they keep defeating us
With a fury of a ten year old girl

Don't blame me. It's not so bad
Governmental policy is supposed to make you mad
Close your eyes, Think it's OK
Change direction, and look the other way

Run for the right-of-way
Looking for a better day
I keep it going, it keeps me moving
Radio is sedative
Music is repetitive
I keep it going. It keeps me grooving
You don't need an attitude
In and effort to become 'rude'
It's just a term, for your information
I may be a little weird
But there's something to be feared
At the people who run the nation!

Don't blame me. It's not so bad
Governmental policy is supposed to make you mad
Close your eyes, Think it's OK
Change direction, You'll learn to look the other way
