I'm just gonna call this one poetry, you know?
That's pretty much what it is
Just a bunch of things I've wrote over the last couple years
Just kind of throwing it out there

You ever take a step back and wonder where the time go?
Life is what you make of it, so I paint it like Van Gogh
If you ever wonder where I go, it's cause you lost me at hello
See I finally tell my life's sweet like a mango

So don't come over here tryna take a bite, unless you can tango
It's that kinda song that gets slept on till I'm blown up and the rest gone
Yeah you remember me like the Don Teflon
Come on, what you think I do this for?

You think I care for the attention that it brings?
Listen to this lesson as it sings
I spread my wings and take off
What a wonderful past I left

Reborn with a chip on my shoulder, like I ain't just spent 6 years in the army
As a fucking soldier, I got nothing to prove and nothing to lose
I know what paid my dues and my fair share of bad news
Now it's do what I choose and prosper, just cruise
My life's an autopilot and my flight crew doesn't get bad reviews, nah

Yeah, I watch these kids buy sneakers they can't afford
Just to impress people that they should've ignored
Yet plenty people done it before but not like me
They want what they cannot afford when it is free

Bigger than me and you, it's about living it true
Believe in yourself and you start seeing it too
Too many people caring about what others think
You're missing the point, life's a ship don't let it sink

Stay afloat, no matter the tide
Stay positive, you'll always survive
Hold my hand in soft times, so we grind to incline, yeah

Money, cars and clothes, it's all optional
When you live life to the optimal
So catch me hoppin' all these obstacles like I just need a hospital
I'm sick of all the stop and go

It's more about a shockful flow than it is about lyricism
Some execute and some fear decision
Either way you gotta give your mind a mission
You know what I mean?

Listen, I made plenty mistakes, God gave me plenty of breaks
So when it all came down, I embraced every shake
From the earth to the quake, from my feet to my face
Called my hits hard but I bounced back, didn't break

Learned to better myself, gained some veteran wealth
I ain't talking about the money when I said my country it helped
Now tighten my belt, fuck this cheese it'll melt
I swear this life is such a breeze when you don't know how it's felt

I haven't felt what it's felt, haven't touched what it's touched
By no means necessary am I saying I'm above all else
But everything I say is true, I ain't here to lie to you
So if you wanna hear that fake shit, it's bye to you

For real, honestly I got no time for the negativity, you know what I mean?
When you radiate good energy, you attract good energy
I believe in that, you know?
I'm just enjoying the process and having fun

See I don't accept defeat, even if all ends meet
I still find a way to drag through the mud with my feet
I'm all about the fans, the life and the fame
As long as it's all love and you stand for a change

I'm a dog with no collar, I'm a dream with no dollar
Everything in between, a dropout and a scholar
They say to make the money you gotta get the degree
But what they do not tell you is exactly what you need

They promise it'll lead to wealth you'll get to see
But it's all just a disease with no soil for you to breathe
See loans is what you're getting
You'll settle for so much less

The job that you regret, ain't it so sad?
You'll believe you've done your best, oh no no no
It's true, you know it is
