Eternal Flame

וּלמִּשְׁכָּן מִזְבֵּֽחַ אָשִׂים לְקַרְנֵי הוֹדוֹ,
וּלְנֵר תָּמִיד אֶקַּח לִי אֶת-אֵשׁ הָעֲקֵידָה, וּלְקָרְבָּן אַקְרִיב לוֹ אֶת נַפְשִי,
אֶת נַפְשִׁי הַיְחִידָה.

In my heart, a sanctuary I build,
A palace for His glory revealed,
An altar I place within my soul,
To offer praise, to make me whole.

With flames of Akedah, burning bright,
I light the candle, eternal light,
My heart the offering, pure and true,
A sacrifice of love to You.

For deep within, my spirit yearns,
A holy fire within me burns,
I build a space, a dwelling place,
For the Divine light to embrace.

In the secret chambers of my heart,
The worlds above and I are not apart,
A Mishkan built of faith and flame,
Calling out His holy name.

The altar's horns, they stand so proud,
With light of glory, burning loud,
Each breath, each thought, a sacred rite,
Drawing closer to His light.

My soul the offering, pure and free,
Each tear and joy, I give to Thee,
In this hidden shrine I pray and sing,
To crown my King with everything.

For deep within, my spirit yearns,
A holy fire within me burns,
I build a space, a dwelling place,
For the Divine light to embrace.

In the secret chambers of my heart,
The worlds above and I are not apart,
A Mishkan built of faith and flame,
Calling out His holy name.

With every step, I seek to climb,
A ladder reaching out of time,
The inner temple I construct,
With holy words and deeds unstuck.

For deep within, my spirit yearns,
A holy fire within me burns,
I build a space, a dwelling place,
For the Divine light to embrace.

In the secret chambers of my heart,
The worlds above and I are not apart,
A Mishkan built of faith and flame,
Calling out His holy name

Above and beyond this place,
Forever now eternitys embrace)

וּלְנוּרָא דִתָּמִיד נִסְבָּא נוּרָא דְעֲקֵידְתָּא,
וּלְקוּרְבָּנָא אַקְרִיב לֵיהּ נַפְשִׁי,
נַפְשִׁי יְחִידָיָא.
