My childhood
Is when I first started hunting
I was taught
To respect
God's given
Creatures of the forest
Respect the forest
Respect the animals of the forest
They have as much right to be here as you and I do
God made these animals
He put us in charge of it to be stewards of it
You did not hurt something that you were not going to consume
You're taking a life
That's important to understand
Our ancestors lived this way and this is part of our DNA to do this

There's nothing more gratifying than being in the woods
In the morning
Before daylight
And hear the forest wake up
