Jody and Red had a mutual attraction
But in their life of love, there was one distraction

Red came home late Saturday night
The house was dark, not even one light
Seems Jody wasn't where she said she'd be
So Red headed into town to have a look-see

Red's eyes burned like the coals of hell

City boy smiled and drew his knife
But Red's 45 barked and ended his life
