The Wind Cries 'Angus!'

There's a town in northern Tassie
With a Liquorland outside the IGA
Where they sell the biggest houses
To the wealthiest of owners by the way

Oh I sell so high
At record lows
Sometimes I wonder why
I just keep winning all the time
Then I remember I'm the prize

The wind lies
And it begs
It cries for Angus
And all the movie stars that drive expensive cars
Do their drugs and buy their stupid worthless art
They don't know the hero's really just been cast
They'll all be screaming Angus

There's a town in northern Tassie
Where they may as well just mention I'm the mayor
With my robe of gold and sceptre folded elegant
I watch the people stare

I could get so high
Smash 12 beers in a row
Get off work at 5
And still convince them all to buy
I'm just that kind of guy

The wind lies
And it begs
It cries for Angus
And all the movie stars that drive expensive cars
Do their drugs and buy their stupid worthless art
They don't know the hero's really just been cast
They'll all be screaming Angus
Angus
Bloody Angus

And so Angus lived a long yet terminally unsatisfying life
Watching his potential slip through his fingers like sand
They'll all be screaming Angus
But you know, I don't think this is where Angus' story really ends
In fact, I think there's a little bit of Angus in all of us
Is that really such a bad thing?

They'll all be screaming Angus
Angus
Bloody Angus
They'll be screaming
Angus!!!
