SINS N BUSES / II
Let me tell you a story...
Once I missed the bus, on a bridge
I loomed over the edge to see
What low life waits for me
What ghost will I set free
And there stands a bus
With all of the windows
Shattered, broken in
Big holes for big sins
And the glasses sit on each and every
Seat, all laid out like a puzzle
The dent on the windshield is deep
For whatever kind of poltergeist
Sits on the driver's seat tonight
It can experience what happened here
What happened here
The rope I tied to that old bridge
Seems to not have been meant to
Be climbed down
With a bag, and with determination
My hands have grown tired
I still hear the tires
Of the buses driving over me
Are those murmurs I hear?
Oh, I lost grip, I took a breath
The sweat from my face, flew quickly then
My teeth were grating, arms were shaking
And it all came to me then
How the bus left me to land there
In this wonderland of death and sin
In a wonderland of ghosts and sin
The ceiling of the bus was fake
Landed back in bed, I take
One last look in the mirror
Wash my face, see what I've been through
I walk towards the driver's seat
Sat there waiting, days and weeks
To see what I've been missing
A crash site under a bridge
And the glasses sit on each and every (Once I missed the bus, on a bridge)
Seat, all laid out like a puzzle
The dent on the windshield is deep (I loomed over the edge to see)
For whatever kind of poltergeist (What low life waits for me)
Sits on the driver's seat tonight
It can experience what happened here (What ghost will I set free)
