I found some mermaids
That actually listen to me
And understand
I now swim in fountains of youth,
But the past is far from the truth

I used to swim in raging oceans
Oceans covered by a veil of commotion
I was constantly drowned by sirens so pleasing
Little did I know that they were demons

They drew me close
With ambrosia and their palaces
Made of gold
I thought I was safe and sound,
But it was a mirage that would drown

The Sirens' Call dragged me down
They killed my soul with a single sound
They made me believe
That the world was safe in their arms
The Sirens' Call makes one believe
That there is no wrong,
But only divine
Yet they killed me with their teeth
Like knives

Somehow I survived
Even though they ripped me apart
Limb from limb
I flourished once I left the sea to swim
To swim in lakes and pools
Where I can't be tricked like a fool
I'm safe now,
But I don't know how
I still somehow hear
