A Light in Me

What can I say now, what can I do?
To make you see what's missing,
what's so different between me and you.

How lost was I in this world, blindly living for myself,
just going through the motions, thinking happiness was wealth.
No light in me, without peace,
Only an anxiety
I would never find; a purpose.

And the gravity of how I'd die; worthless.

I once was lost, I was guilty,
Didn't understand the hole within me.

Then I called the name of Jesus,
Received his Holy Spirit,
I am saved.

It's a new day, I have renewed grace,
Emptiness replaced, now whole.
In the mirror there's the same face,
But on the inside, there's a new place,
For the one that saved my soul.

Overwhelmed by the depth of his love,
To die my death, to prepare a place above.
On the third day He rose, He paid the debt we owe,
And today he's still on the throne.
Accept the truth your soul sees,
And invite the light and be set freee.

You are lost, you are guilty, death awaits your sin.
Call His name, repent, believe He has risen.
In Jesus alone you are saved.
See what I see in you, release the weight.

Sin is erased, now a saved soul.
In the mirror there's the same face,
But on the inside, there's a new place,

And the spirit that's inside of me,
