Scooter

The first time I saw it, I knew it would be
Something very important to me
Couldn't wait to find out how it feels
Riding on a scooter with light-up wheels

But then when I tried it, I fell down
I tried it again, wound up back on the ground
After 16 or 17 tries, I got better
Finally I was starting to ride my scooter

I am flying on my scooter
And I get around much faster
Now that I'm a scooter master

At first it seemed too hard
But now I grab those handlebars
And I'm flying fast and far on my scooter

I can go over bumps and I can handle the turns
So many scooter moves that I have learned
I take it slow when I'm trying something new
A little at a time discovering what I can do

I still fall down from time to time
But I wear my helmet so I'm mostly fine
Just some scrapes and scratches on my knees
But those things aren't gonna stop me and my scooter

I am flying on my scooter
And I get around much faster
Now that I'm a scooter master

At first it seemed too hard
But now I grab those handlebars
And I'm flying fast and far on my scooter

I like bikes and I like roller skates
And pogo sticks, they seem pretty great
But nothing can compare to rolling down the path
With the wind in my hair on my scooter

I am flying on my scooter
And I get around much faster
Because I am a scooter master

At first it seemed too hard
But now I grab those handlebars
And I'm flying fast and far
At first it seemed too hard
But now I grab those handlebars
And I'm flying fast and far on my scooter
