I had a fever that night
I didnt know what i was saying
Has that happened to you before?
I'm sure it has
Once or twice

I was talking all kinds of nonsense and
It was a while before i could see that
But you know how that goes right?
I mean sure you do

The news had come over
It had made the tv, and the newsreader
They call them anchors today
Read the story out
And it was unprecedented what had happened
Which made it newsworthy
Unprecedented he or she said on the news on tv
And you said, does anchor mean deep and steady
Or does it mean heavy and stuck in the mud
Drowning in deep water and unable to move?

No I said it just means they get more money for sitting in a chair
