OJ & Coffee

She gets home tired
Palm against her chest
Soft breath out
With a half closed eye and a battered heart she sighs
But she can't let it all out

It looks like home and it sure is home
But she don't feel that much at home
With the TV on and a bag of bonbons
She works away through the night always
Always

What could she do?
She feels unsure
What could she do?
She feels unsure

7:00 AM
Open wide and out of bed
Pours two cups of OJ for the kids
As she kisses them goodbye
Doesn't give them a ride
Just off to school with a wave and half a smile
Pours a herself a cup of coffee then she blends in with her office chair at home
Where she don't feel that much at all, yeah

She's got a way with words on the telephone
She's got a way with her voice
Her eyes spark with glee when they don't watch her speak
But her body breaks down
When they sit around all corners of her face

What could she do?
She feels unsure
What could she do?
She feels unsure
What could she do?
She feels unsure
What could she do?
She feels unsure

Whoa oh oh
Whoa oh oh
Whoa oh oh
Whoa oh oh
Whoa oh oh
Whoa oh oh

Pours a cup of coffee for herself
Blends in with her office chair at home
She don't need to feel that much at all
She don't need to feel that much at all
