In the darkness, where shadows dance,
And then stillness, like a fateful chance.

Faust
Who are you, my friend
I would like to understand,
I'm confused by the words used

Mephisto
I am a spirit that desires the evil, yet gives so good

A dance of darkness started
No need to be broken-hearted
The life will come belittle
When evil has wrapped you in a riddle

Mephisto
Long ago I was all, but now I'm bound to earthly life
Full of lights, sins, and ruins that I hope will fade away
From the pentagram's arcane gate in which I am trapped

Faust
A covenant of peace I couldn't resist,
A pact with the devil, in darkness I persist.
In compassion, I grant his freedom,
Promising pleasures, beyond what the eyes see.
A sensory journey, a dangerous chase.
Beware, Faust, of the devil's embrace,
Awakening, I wonder, deceived or not,
Has the devil fled, like a stray in the plot?

Mephisto returns to me, offering me freedom
Dreams, love, hope, and faith. And nothing more is needed
When times are so dark, the dialogue with my guide,
A dance of darkness, where secrets still reside
