Thunder

Everyday, things turn a little more grey
And the smoke in my brain, is getting hard to refrain
But I'll stay a little longer, keep your head from going under
Cause we were never cut out for play
But I don't care for what they say
And my effort's a useless blunder if I won't live for the crack of that thunder
But I've got to keep my name

But I'm drawn to testing those waters

And I know that I'm cursed by the water
I love a kind of life where it's filling up with thunder

I lay the gas on the murderer swims in my skin
