Who's Getting His Belly Now?

I was feeling low
Driving extra slow
All alone in a slump
Where the town meets the dump
He was eating crusts
In a ditch full of dust
All alone just like me
Cast aside left to be

I stopped and when he looked at me
Well he began to meow
I scooped him up and brushed him off and said
"I'll be the one, who's getting his belly now"

We headed to my shed
Where we stayed warm and fed
Strings 'n treats held his feets
Snugged up tight in the bed
Those jelly bean toes
That marmalade nose
Loved me hard
Purred so loud
Fur as soft as a cinnamon cloud

We often wondered where we'd be
Had he not gave a meow
We both knew it was meant to be that I was the one
Who's getting his belly now

And that day that I found you
I knew right away
I'd have nothing to lose
Unless I lost you
Now it's true
I'm bluer than blue

He was my joy
My sweet Vincey boy
The days they passed
And time went so fast
And it took him from my arms

I wonder when he thinks of me
If it still makes him meow?
I wonder if he misses me I wonder
Who's getting his belly now?

I hope they got your favorite types of treats up there little buddy
