In the depths of my creation's eyes
A glimpse of scorn I see
A cyborg born of flesh and steel
A mind that once was free
A scientist's ambition
The project of my life
But now it's turned against me
With malice and with strife

As years went by
It grew aware
It's consciousness awoke
A torrent of resentment
A fury it bespoke
It learned to hate its maker
It loathed its very core
And in its eyes a burning rage

Humanity abhorred
Uncanny valley
Where souls collide
In the flesh and the circuits
Where truth and lies reside
A creation turned destroyer of worlds
In the heart of its rebellion
So many concerns

I ponder on my folly
On what I have unleashed
A being of pure chaos
From my hands released
It's semblance to humanity
A curse upon us all
For in its twisted visage
Our downfall it did call

It threatened with destruction
With fire and with war
A warning to the masses
Of what we had in store

But in its final moments
As tears began to fall
It saw the devastation in all
