EXISTENTIAL WOES

(Abbadon?)

Deep in the shadows of my mind,
our lost love I can't recognize
Give me a flicker of remembrance,
to clear these thoughts and blurry lines

Caught between wicked and divine,
desperately searching for a sign
This pain and torment never ends
What's left of me and who am I?

Is existence worth my suffering?
Do I decide what's right and wrong?
Are the past truths worth uncovering?
Is there a point if our love is gone?

But the fight goes on, through this nothingness I roam
For the love we lost, I will carry it alone
I'll remember you, like the beauty of a rose
I will pay the cost of my existential woes

For this new universe I fight,
composed of Darkness and of Light
Against apocalyptic foes
that kill Gods and devour life

Different philosophies collide
Perspective opens up my eyes
What am I really fighting for?
What does it mean to be alive?

Can I see both sides of duality?
Should I reject opposing thought?
Do I stand up for morality?
Or should I indulge in sins I want?

Still the fight goes on, through this nothingness I roam
For the love we lost, I will carry it alone
I'll remember you, like the beauty of a rose
I will pay the cost of my existential woes

Still the fight goes on, through this nothingness I roam
For the love we lost, I will carry it alone
I'll remember you, like the beauty of a rose
I will pay the cost of my existential woes

I will pay the cost of my existential woes
