Siren's Den

There's a lighthouse on the shore
And he's beckoning for more
Ships to wane in his domain
He's gone insane

In the siren's den I lost my way, I found a friend
There I learned that though it's over it is not the end
Closed my eyes, debated going back and taking the long way home
That's when I'll know that in the siren's den I'm not alone

And that lighthouse on the shore
Only left me wanting more
It's kind of strange how most things change
The little things still stay the same
So I'll stride out on the sand
Hungering for distant lands
I'll outstretch both of my hands
Towards the horizon if I can

I've got three questions left to ask
Where am I going?
Will this last?
And will they wonder how it came to pass?
