Hell's Canyon

There was fire in the end
Storm clouds, thunder and rain
Smoke bellowed from the burning sage
Twisted metal, shards of glass and all my rage

Flying falling to the ground
Broken pieces lying all around
A rugged cowboy pulled me from the flames
At that moment I was saved

Sinning brought me here and praying got me out
The devil's grip was slippin'
The Lord above heard me crying out
When I crawled out of Hell's Canyon

Lyin' face down in dirt
Bruised, only my pride was hurt
A raspy voice called my name
He said darlin' today you are saved

His lesson was clear to me
Don't go sliding back down
Don't go inviting the devil in
To the place that was never his

Sinning brought me here and praying got me out
The devil's grip was slippin'
The Lord above heard me crying out
When I crawled out of Hell's Canyon

Oooo
Aaaahhh
Oooo
Aahhhhh
When I crawled out of Hell's Canyon

So if you ever go
Down that broken fiery road
A cowboy angel will be there
To answer God's prayers
And that's how I crawled out of Hell's Canyon
