A Silent Night in Bethlehem
A silent night in Bethlehem, the stars they softly gleam,
In a humble little stable, there's a glow within a dream.
Mary rocks her baby boy, while Joseph stands nearby,
The world it sleeps in slumber deep, beneath the night's clear sky.
The shepherds in the fields tonight, are watching o'er their sheep,
When an angel voice descends, from a star-lit, gentle sweep.
"Fear not," the angel whispers soft, "Good news I bring to you,
A Savior born in David's town, the prophecy comes true."
Oh, Bethlehem is glowing, with a light so pure and bright,
The birth of Heaven's precious gift, on this serene, sweet night.
The birth of a new promise, in a world so cold and bare,
Hope and love in swaddling clothes, a treasure rich and rare.
Wise men travel from afar, following a star,
Bearing gifts for the newborn king, they've journeyed long and far.
Gold and myrrh and frankincense, a royal offering,
They bow before the holy child, the world's newborn King.
The cattle low, the baby sleeps, in peace the night rolls by,
And in that tender little form, divine and human lie.
Angels sing their song of praise, the heavens join in tune,
The dawn of light, this holy night, beneath the silver moon.
Oh, Bethlehem is glowing, with a light so pure and bright,
The birth of Heaven's precious gift, on this serene, sweet night.
The birth of a new promise, in a world so cold and bare,
Hope and love in swaddling clothes, a treasure rich and rare.
In a humble little stable, there's a glow within a dream.
