I've been deep up in that struggle really thought about giving up
If it wasn't for Jesus Christ I know I wouldn't be going up

All the blood he shed for me got me truly seeing more

Trust me life was hard tryna become someone I was not
All that got me was this lust depression also jealousy
If you knew me you would know the things I used to be

Lonely child from north Dallas had these drugs abusing me
Didn't know where I was going until JC was calling G
Got attacked when I was 10 been had demons stalking me

Hidden in the room watching movies underneath the sheets
Man I thought smoking weed was cool until it took my peace

I had to put that drug down ain't know the hold it had on me
The way Jesus came I can't go back I gotta switch the seats

All the blood he shed for me got me truly seeing more
Now we lit with the Messiah his presence got me feeling warm

I thank God that He saved me He turned nothing into something
Always working harder than the enemy fully trust that He keep me in His covenant

Overcoming these obstacles keepin' my head high filled with his grace and I'm lovin' it
Heart filled with joy take it day by day got rid of that demon I'm flushin' it

We tend to be our greatest downfall it's a struggle don't ever lose purpose
Spiritually I pray hard keep my faith in God and it's worth it

Reading and speaking his word he giving me lessons I'm learning
Rise above trials and tribulations watch the tables begin turning

I pray to My God up above forever embrace me he sending out love
No matter what I'm going through I can't ever think about giving it up

Beyond the sky there's no limits God taking me far
The Golden Child did I mention I'm destined to become a star

They can't get rid of me
Throw dirt on My name that's just the enemy
Highs and lows they not feeling me
Soon you'll know hateful souls not Killing my energy
Why they focused on sin in me
Only Lord knows how this go He defending me
