Moonchild

In a town by the river where the water runneth wild, i came to meet your love, oh dear Moonchild. But I never did get to know you more than that. You grew so many butterflies at the bottom of my stomach. The flapping of their wings, it stained my heart, and i never could control the wind that i blew black./ And we went down the drain. I'm glad we went the same way. No i don't take it for granted, but i know you like to dance with me./ Now the air it is wet and the lights got drimmer, to someone like me it don't matter anymore. Like a bat in the night, i know what i'm after. I can see in your eyes you have lost some time making bed times stories for sleepless child.
And i bless your heart for the time when you were mine./ REFRAIN / Now i do avoid the places that are still attached to her. I take rowboats and sleepwalk and peep under the doors and the dark side of my glasses got at least twice thicker.
