Burnin' Out
My screen time seems to be soaring
I sometimes wish that my computer could snap me out of it
And I'm working to keep on improving too many things
Guess I'm naive enough that I just won't quit
Thinking of burning out
I'm tired of feeling like I'm on fire
I never wanted to feel stressed out
It scares me that I can't seem to stop it
It's time to reorder all of the concepts inside my head
Surely I'll find out a way for them to fit
In a tessellated picture-perfect M.C. Escher painting
That keeps me from losing my last grip
Thinking of burning out
I'm tired of feeling like I'm on fire
I never wanted to feel stressed out
It scares me that I can't seem to stop it
I just hope I keep my head square on my shoulders
So all my friends don't think I've lost it
Cause If they said I'm acting crazy
They'd never guess just how long I have been
Thinking of burning out
I'm tired of feeling like I'm on fire
I never wanted to feel stressed out
It scares me that I can't seem to stop it
I sometimes wish that my computer could snap me out of it
And I'm working to keep on improving too many things
