I'll See You In the Rapture

I'll see you in the rapture,
after the first trumpet sounds.
The dead in Christ shall rise
from the sea and from the ground.

And they that shall remain
will be caught up in the air
I am going to that city,
I'll see you when I get there.

I'll meet my loved ones, who has gone on before,
we shall, forever be together, never to depart no more.
Most of all, in that holy place, I want see Jesus,
I want to see Him face to face.

I want to live in that holy city, that's so bright and fair.
When Jesus returns for me, I want to be caught up in the air.
That's why I'm getting my house in order,
so that I can meet God up there.
