Chocolate Brown Eyes

The front door is locked i slide in
my key
i look through the window where
sometimes i see you
your doors slightly cracked and i
know it's late
i quickly walk downstairs and try
not to wake you

you quietly dream above my head
and i lie tonight awake in my bed
thinking of you and all that i've
come to adore
your chocolate brown eyes
blow me away
those beautiful eyes but
i'll never say it
cause your much to young our
worlds are separated by time
there's something so nice in
those chocolate brown eyes

i'm torn in between that you're
only nineteen
and that i'm perfectly moved by
everything that you are
you're pretty like something with
a storybook end
that i won't let myself read
so i'll be your friend
