The Ghost Thief

There was once a ghost who liked to steal things
He had a large collection of old horror comic books, records and unchewed sticks of bubblegum from 1953

He kept these items hidden in a faded black barn in Indiana

Every evening he would float around the countryside and sneak into old farmhouses

Sometimes the inhabitants of these meager dwellings would hear the rattling of the ghost's chains and hurry up the creaking stairs to investigate
They would always find their favorite collectibles missin', but no sign of the burglar

One day a filthy hobo stumbled into the haunted barn and discovered the beautiful treasure
The ghost tried to scare him away with eerie moans and screams
It worked

Unfortunately the frightened hobo dropped his cigar on the floor
The barn was made from very old and very dry wood
It caught on fire and everything was burnt to a crisp
The ghost's haunted heart was broken

Later he tracked the hobo down and cracked his ribs open like a fortune cookie
Then he climbed inside and went to sleep
Forever
