A Little Help Is All I Need

I can put on my pajamas
But have trouble with the snaps
I can go to sleep at night
But I have trouble taking naps
I can always turn the pages
But I'm too little to read
I can usually pick a flower
But I sometimes pick a weed

And sometimes I can do it myself
And sometimes I need a little help
Just something to bring me up to speed
Yeah, sometimes, a little help
Is all I need

I can't tie the laces but
I can put on my shoes
I shouldn't carry dishes (Oops!)
But I can bring you the news
I can't open jars yet but my
Grip is pretty strong
I can't play the piano
But I can sing you this song

And sometimes I can do it myself
And sometimes I need a little help
Just something to bring me up to speed
Yeah, sometimes, a little help
Is all I need

I can brush my teeth
But I can't turn on the sink
I can't pour the orange juice
But I do know how to drink
I've already learned to walk and talk
And how to clap and blink
If I figure out a few more things
I'll be a grown up... I think

And sometimes I can do it myself
And sometimes I need a little help
Just something to bring me up to speed
Yeah, sometimes, a little help
Is all I need

And sometimes I can do it myself
And sometimes I need a little help
Just something to bring me up to speed
Yeah, sometimes, a little help
Is all I need
