There's an army of compassion
That arises in the land,
Whose hearts have been awakened
to the needs of fellow man
And to the heart that's been enlightened
Every colour is the same
Every life is just as priceless
Everybody has a name

There's an army of compassion
That arises in the land
They are ready as defenders
Not afraid to lend a hand
For the fatherless and widow
They'll protect, provide and care
And their joy is in the giving
To be the answer to a prayer

Army of Compassion
Knows no limits to their love
Sure as the darkest night
Must break for dawn
There's a heavenly residue
Wherever they have gone

There's an army of compassion
that arises in the land
to bring justice, to bring freedom
To every woman, every man
On a quiet quest for victory
They will give their lives away
So that others won't be wanting
